SKULL STRINGS is the brand name of the company TOLITO (1993), created in 2004 and entirely dedicated to Metal and Extreme Music.

Its founder, Carlos Pavicich, a former professional bassist, has always taken great care with his sound.

In the 90s, as the owner of several music shops, he was confronted with the problems of artists looking for string sets that were really adapted to their needs, problems that he himself had been facing for a long time.

Far from allowing his music to be dictated by standardised string sets, and in search of solutions, the SKULL STRINGS idea was born. And after ten years of research and testing, the first SKULL STRINGS range, the DROP Line, was released. The others followed.

Forerunners in Drop, Low Tuning and specific and extreme tie rods, we are also specialists in made-to-measure tie rods. Our job is not just to wind high-quality strings, but above all to find solutions tailored to the increasingly specific needs of musicians. Our job is to relieve the musician's mind of the worries caused by technical constraints.
